High School & Jr High
The purpose of our youth ministry is the same as that of the church: We are here to glorify God.
We strive to equip and encourage disciples when we are gathered through preaching, teaching, correction, use of spiritual gifts, gathered worship, singing, and through activities among others who seek the heart of God.
We actively work to equip disciples when we are scattered through instruction in individual bible study, instruction in prayer, training in evangelism, individual counseling, and through consistent reminders of the desperate need for individual daily worship of God.
We try to encourage disciples when we are scattered by staying connected via blog, facebook, email, and through the relationships forged and strengthened in this ministry and above all else, by praying for one another.
We aim to be a light in the darkness, a pillar and support of truth, and an active, serving part of Christ's body.
Sunday School - singing, praying and teaching
Wednesday night service - eating, singing, praying and teaching
Thursday bible study - small group bible study time. Girls and Guys groups
Saturday prayer breakfast - eating and praying together
Undefined - one Sunday a month. Fellowship, food and other such things
LiM - Lessons in Maturity. One Thursday a month for our girls
Helping Hands - practical service for the people of our church
Agape Wars - ongoing summer event. Strategic, team activities that are ever changing
Sr. Banquet - celebrating our graduates
New Years - all night, different every year and always a good time
