The purpose of our youth ministry is the same as that of the church: We are here to glorify God.
We strive to equip and encourage disciples when we are gathered through preaching, teaching, correction, use of spiritual gifts, gathered worship, singing, and through activities among others who seek the heart of God.
We actively work to equip disciples through instruction in individual bible study, instruction in prayer, training in evangelism, individual counseling, and through consistent reminders of the desperate need for individual daily worship of God.
We try to encourage disciples by staying connected via GroupMe, Facebook, email, and through the relationships forged and strengthened in this ministry and above all else, by praying for one another.
We aim to be a light in the darkness, a pillar and support of truth, and an active, serving part of Christ's body.
With this at the core of our ministry, we offer a variety of resources for junior high and high school students in grades 7 through 12 such as:
Every Wednesday, our youth group meets for a time of Bible teaching, singing, prayer and fellowship.
Once a month or more, our youth group meets for a time of fun and fellowship, enjoying many activities such as bowling, making films, all-nighters, retreats and game nights.
1-on-1 discipleship with a members of our volunteer group
Small group Bible study and discipleship groups led by members of our volunteer group.
